WEST WINDSOR, NJ – St. Francis Brooklyn women's tennis continued Northeast Conference tournament action against #1 seeded LIU on Saturday afternoon. The Terrier run ended in a 4-0 loss as the Sharks advanced to the final for the second time in program history.
LIU took the first point of the match by winning two doubles matches. From there, they won three straight singles matches to secure the victory.
In No. 1 singles, Milana Lysova battled but fell by a score of 6-4, 6-3.
The loss ended St. Francis Brooklyn's season. LIU will face Sacred Heart Sunday morning to determine the NEC champion.
