LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ– The St. Francis Brooklyn women's tennis team (0-1) fell to the Broncs of Rider University (1-0) by a score of 5-2. This afternoon's match marked the season opener for the Terriers during their respective 2019-20 campaign.
The season opened serve with sophomore
Dea Lako coming from behind in a three-set thriller to earn her first Terrier victory by a score of 6-7 (7-4), 6-4, and would claim victory 10-6 in the third set.
Senior
Runsi Patro rallied as she would take the second set over Sarah Cheverie, 6-3, but would fall in the third set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-5).
