Box Score QUEENS, NY - St. Francis Brooklyn women's tennis took on Queens College in non-conference action on Sunday evening, dropping a tight 4-3 result. The Terriers split their six singles matches, but could not claim the doubles point in the defeat.
The match began with the Terriers getting swept in doubles play, but a Queens forfeit at No. 6 singles brought the score to 1-1. From there, the Terriers took the lead as
Margherita Fiorio breezed through her matchup at No. 1 singles.
Nicolle Romero won her singles matchup but Queens grabbed the last two to win 4-3.
The Terriers continue action on Saturday, March 4 at Stonehill.
