Results
The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers were defeated by the Sacred Heart Pioneers, 129-91, in a dual meet on Saturday at the SFC Aquatics Center.
Sophomore sensation
Raphaelle Gregoire won two individual events and a relay to lead the Terriers in the meet. Gregoire captured the 50 Freestyle in a season-best time of 25.01 and took the 100 Breaststroke in 1:05.37.
Gregoire helped lead the 200 Medley Relay squad to a first-place time of 1:51.21.
Shannon Sokolow,
Lara Milak, and
Beatriz Gomes Angelo were the other members of the team.
Other first-place finished were turned in by
Laura Toth (1,000 Freestyle, 10:54.38) and Gomes Angelo (500 Freestyle, 5:08.64).
Fanny Stromstedt was the runner-up in the 400 Individual Medley (4:50.11) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.98).
Rebeca Tapia placed second in the 1,000 Freestyle (11:01.90) and Sokolow was the runner-up in the 100 Backstroke (1:02.55).
