EMMITTSBURG, MD– The St. Francis College Brooklyn women's soccer team (0-13-0, 0-6-0) were narrowly edged by the Mountaineers of Mount St. Mary's (MD) on Sunday afternoon at Waldron Family Stadium on the campus of the university.
The Terriers outshot the Mountaineers 16-15, and would outshoot the Mount on net as well by a tally of 6-4. Both programs were even at three corners a piece. Finally, both teams were offside six times each.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Freshman defender Eva Papista notched two shots with one shot on goal.
- Sophomore forward Sarah DeWitt registered four shots.
- Freshman defender Isabelle Gollette logged a pair of shots that were on goal.
- Junior goalkeeper Klil Keshwar notched three saves in 90 minutes of game-action.
- Freshman midfielder Henriette Lykke recorded four shots with a pair on goal.
- Freshman midfielder Maggie Motolese tallied three shots with one reaching the net.
- Freshman midfielder Jacqueline Puda registered one shot.
