BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY - The St. Francis Brooklyn women's soccer team is set to return to action in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge Sunday afternoon as the Terriers host the University of New Hampshire (UNH).
The Terriers, under head coach Justine Lombardi, make their season debut at home Sunday at 1:00 p.m. on Pier Five at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
St. Francis is still in search of its first of the season after drawing 1-1 with Canisius in Buffalo on Thursday in the season opener; the second consecutive meeting that has ended in that scoreline between the Griffins and the Terriers.
Jess Rodriguez scored the first goal of the season for SFBK, and her first career goal. Klil Keshwar make five saves in the draw.
This will the first time in Brooklyn Heights for UNH, and the second meeting between the two in program history. Last season, they played a double-overtime scoreless draw in Durham on Sept. 2, 2021. The Wildcats are also in search of their first of the season after dropping the season opener on the road the Syracuse, 1-2.
Sunday's match is free to attend at Brooklyn Bridge Park and the match will stream live on NEC Front Row, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
