Motolese Named Player of the Week, Gollette Named Prime Performer in Weekly Conference Awards

SOMERSET, NJ - For the first time this season, the St. Francis Brooklyn women's soccer team had two named to the weekly Northeast Conference (NEC) awards.
Senior Margaret Motolese was named the NEC Player of the Week and Izzy Gollette was named a Prime Performer. This is the first time either student-athlete has received their respective awards.
Motolese takes the top conference player honors after her two-goal performance against Hartford on Aug. 25. The showing was her second career multi-goal game and her second career game-winning goal.
While this is her first time being named the NEC Player of the Week, she was named a Prime Performer twice during the 2021 season.
Gollette received her first conference honors when she was named a Prime Performer on Monday.
She scored two goals over two games in week two; her first of the season in a win over Hartford and her first penalty of the season against Iona on Sunday. Through three games in the 2022 season, she has already matched her goal total from the 2021 season.
