Women’s Soccer Announces Addition of Mackenzie Worthy

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – St. Francis College Brooklyn women's soccer Head Coach Justine Lombardi has announced the signing of Mackenzie Worthy. Worthy becomes the first women's soccer student-athlete to sign her respective National Letter of Intent (NLI) for the 2020 season.

"We are extremely excited to finally announce Mac's (Mackenzie Worthy) commitment for the Fall of 2020. She is a great addition to our group on and off the field. On the field, she is everything we have been missing. Her natural ability to find the back of the net will be key for us next year," commented Lombardi.

Worthy is a 5-foot-9 forward from Keller, TX. The southern native played club soccer for FC Dallas. A two-year letter-winner from Keller High School, scored 16 goals, and tallied 15 assists through her junior year. During her tenure on the school's soccer team she was appointed team captain.

Inside the classroom, Worthy is a Top 10 student by earning all 'A' letter grades throughout her high school career. She also earned Letter K Awards in PAP World Geography, PAP Geometry, PAP English, PAP Algebra II, and PAP Dual World History. The Keller native is also a member of the National Honor Society.
