Women’s Bowling’s Kimmi D’Ottavio Selected to All-NEC Second Team

SOMERSET, NJ – St. Francis College Brooklyn women's bowling senior Kimmi D'Ottavio was selected to the All-NEC Second Team as announced by the league office on Friday. It marks the first time in D'Ottavio's career that she was named to an All-Conference team and she becomes the first Terrier to earn All-NEC Second Team honors since teammate Taylor Waglione did so in 2018-19.

"Being voted to any All-Conference team by only opposing coaches based on stats and personal opinion, is not only an accomplishment, but an honor. It shows that a bowler's talent as well as presence on and off the lanes are very important! I am very proud of what Kimmi and the rest of the team have been able to put together in such a short season and already looking forward to more accomplishments next year," said Terriers' Head Coach Dawn Gugliaro.

D'Ottavio sparked the Terriers' wins over Wagner and Saint Francis University in the traditional matches at NEC 2 with clean game scores of 218 and 215, respectively.

In Baker matches for the season, she boasted the highest frame average (20.51), filled frame percentage (89.7%), strike percentage (52.1%), and spare percentage (78.6%) on the Terriers. In addition, she tied for the team lead with 31 strikes in seven traditional matches.

D'Ottavio becomes the ninth Terrier to be selected to an All-NEC Team and the eighth to earn Second Team honors.
