NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The St. Francis Brooklyn women's bowling team was back in action on Saturday at Bowlero Carolier in North Brunswick, New Jersey, continuing the second weekend of Northeast Conference competition. Matched up against the Saint Francis University Red Flash, the Terriers captured victories in two of the three match formats.

Heather Waters led the Terrier charge in the first match of the day, posting a powerhouse 225 game, and senior
Kimmi D'Ottavio followed up her solid individual game on Friday with a 215 on Saturday. Senior
Lexis Ortiz contributed with a 195, as St. Francis topped the 1,000 mark in defeating the Red Flash. Both Waters and D'Ottavio rolled clean games, with Waters closing hers out with a tenth frame turkey, matching her three strikes in a row beginning in the second frame. D'Ottavio had a pair of doubles in her game.
Baker (Five Game) Total Pinfall: Saint Francis University 861, St. Francis Brooklyn 848
The scoring pace dropped significantly in the total pinfall Baker match, and the Terriers came up a mere 13 pins short when the final score was tallied. St. Francis trailed by 36 going into the final game before rallying to close the margin. The highlight for the Terriers was a 200 in the second game of the match. Ortiz filled nine of her 10 frames to be the team's top individual performer.
Baker Best of Seven Match: St. Francis Brooklyn 4.5, Saint Francis University 0.5
After the Terriers won a pair of low-scoring games to begin the best of seven, the teams halved the third game with identical 173 scores. St. Francis then took command of their destiny by rolling a pair of clean games, capturing them by scores of 194-171 and 255-167. The Terriers began the clinching game with seven consecutive strikes, with Ortiz and freshman
Mikayla Ferrara starting and closing out the run. D'Ottavio rolled a clean match by filling all ten of her frames, and Ortiz and Waters each filled nine of ten.
