BALTIMORE, Mary. - The St. Francis Brooklyn women's bowling team returned to AMF Towson Lanes in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday for the second day of the James Brown Invitational, hosted by Morgan State University. Saturday's competition consisted of five traditional team matches.

The day opened with a loss to the Eagles of Coppin State. Senior
Heather Waters paced the Terriers with a 190 game, with sophomore
Laura McConnon contributing a 179.
Kutztown 849, St. Francis Brooklyn 769
Waters led the Terriers once again against the Golden Bears, rolling a 187, with senior
Kimmi D'Ottavio adding a 181.
St. Francis Brooklyn 844, Mount Aloysius 780
McConnon helped to lift the Terriers to their first win of the day with a solid 202 game which featured only one open frame, and Waters backed her up by shooting a 183.
Duquesne 1,037, St. Francis Brooklyn 998

Lexis Ortiz shredded the pins, stringing eight strikes in a row bookended by first and tenth frame spares, finishing with a 269 score, and Waters added a two-turkey 211 to keep the match close despite the sizzling shooting by the Dukes.
Saint Francis (PA) 938, St. Francis Brooklyn 850
D'Ottavio's single-open 200 and a 180 from Ortiz led St. Francis in the day's final match.
