GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The St. Francis Brooklyn women's bowling team is competing for the final time this season at the Molloy University Lions Roar for National Cancer Society Tournament in Garden City, New York.
Saturday's competition consisted of five rounds of traditional matches, with the Terriers taking third place with a 3-1 record and one bye round.

The day began with the Terriers on a bye, tallying 761 pins toward the total pinfall standings. Freshman
Carly Wu led St. Francis with a 178 high score.

Heather Waters fired a 210 and freshman
Angelia Lubrano posted a 200 to pace the Terriers to a narrow 13 pin victory over the Bulldogs in their first decision of the day.

The lanes played much tighter in the third round of the day as the Terriers and Sharks battled the transition. Waters' 158 was the high score for the Terriers in the loss.

The Terriers were back on their scoring beam in round four, rolling to an easy win over St. Thomas Aquinas. Wu paced the Terriers with a 201 and Lubrano turned in her second 200 game of the afternoon.

Lubrano's 202 game lifted St. Francis to victory over the tournament hosts to wrap up the day's proceedings. Waters added a 176 and Wu scored 169.
Waters and Lubrano both made the All-Tournament Team as they finished in a tie for second with 895 total pins in five games, for a 179 average.
