CORAM, NY - The St. Francis Brooklyn women's bowling team continued its weekend competition at Adelphi University's Dezy Strong Classic on Saturday with five traditional team matches, posting a 2-3 record on the day. The tournament is being contested at Coram Country Lanes.

Saturday began with a position round, and the Terriers rolled to a victory over St. Anselm. Senior
Heather Waters (212) and freshman Angelia Lubrano (202) both cracked the 200 barrier to lead the St. Francis cause, with freshman Giana Giampapa adding a 178 game.
Bloomfield 844 | St. Francis Brooklyn 843
St. Francis came up short by a single pin in the second match of the day, falling to Bloomfield. Lubrano paced the Terriers with a 197 game, and Giampapa rolled a 177.
No. 8 Louisiana Tech 911 | St. Francis Brooklyn 778
The Terriers dropped the day's middle round to the Lady Techsters. Waters had St. Francis' high game with a 182, and junior
Laura McConnon was close behind with a 179.
No. 9 Youngstown State 888 | St. Francis Brooklyn 834
McConnon's 212 led the Terriers against the Penguins, with Lubrano chipping in a 174, but the Terriers dropped the match by 54 pins.
St. Francis Brooklyn 828 | Saint Anselm 794
The second meeting of the day against St. Anselm was another Terrier victory; this one was by a 34-pin margin. Lubrano led the Terriers with a 203.
Lubrano finished the day with the highest pinfall by a Terrier, knocking down 917 pins in five games.
