Last Timeout:
Alex Delaney set the tone early, recording an immediate steal as the Knights were getting into their first set, and finding
Amy O'Neill for the first two points of the game. The bucket started a 7-1 Terrier run, an offensive blitz that was stalled by effective free throw shooting from FDU, and later re-opened as the St. Francis Brooklyn carried an 18-8 advantage into the second quarter.
In the second, the Terriers continued to push the pace, leading 26-10 before the Knights called an early timeout. The Terrier lead grew to 33-16, where the score stood at the half, thanks to eight first half steals and a 5-11 display from three.
To start the third, another Delaney steal got the Terriers going, this finishing with a coast-to-coast contested lay-up. The Terriers quickly went up by as many as 23 points before the Knights rallied to put together a 12-5 run late, but still trailed the Terriers 46-30 after three.
The Knights came out with a spirited effort to start the fourth, even cutting the Terrier lead to 13 (49-36) with 4:58 to go. Ultimately, the Terriers were able to hold off FDU for the victory.
Alex Delaney guided the Terriers with a game-best 15 points and four steals, one away from her career-high. Delaney shot 6-of-14 from the field and drained two three's in the game.
Jade Johnson followed with 11 points, reaching double figures for her eighth consecutive game. Johnson shot 4-of-8 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range, while also recording three steals.
Following up a career-best 10 points last time out,
Abby Anderson netted eight for the Terriers on Monday night.
Maria Palarino added seven points and six rebounds, while
Amy O'Neill registered six points, six rebounds and four assists.
Recent Series History:
Most recently, the Terriers outlasted the Blue Devils, 78-70, while in Connecticut on January 20, their first meeting of the 2017-18 season. In the victory, the Terriers were paced by
Maria Palarino and
Alex Delaney, who finished with 15 points and six rebounds each.
Dating back to the beginning of the 2014-15 season, the Terriers have won two games against the Blue Devils, including a double-overtime affair in the 2015 NEC Semifinals en route to the NEC title game.

Jade County:
Jade Johnson is fifth among leading scorers in the Northeast Conference, recording a team-best 15.0 points per contest. The sophomore shooting guard has been an NEC Prime Performer four times this season.
In 27 games this season, Johnson has reached double-digit points in 23 contests, including 11 straight appearances between November 30 and January 15, and she's toppled the 20-point mark on eight occasions. On the season, the Australian native has 44 steals (1.6 per), and she's also pulling down 4.3 rebounds per game from the guard spot. At 43.9% from three-point range, the second-year Terrier is second among all NEC players, and she also ranks near the top-10 in NEC field goal percentage (45.6%) among qualifiers.
Delaney's Historical Pursuit:
Alex Delaney, who is hitting 36.4% from three this season, which is seventh among NEC players, currently has 162 made from downtown in her career, putting her fourth all-time on the SFBKWBB leaderboard, where she began the season in 12
th place at 103.
Additionally, The 6-foot forward averaged 17.2 points in a five-game stretch between January 13 and January 26 earlier this season, and had a career-best 30 points in a win against Mount St. Mary's on January 13.

- Jade Johnson (72) and Alex Delaney (59) are fifth and eighth, respectively, in three-point conversions in SFBKWBB history (season), the only duo to reach the top-ten together. Delaney is only the third Terrier to be in the top-ten at least twice, joining Chris Cunningham and Sarah Benedetti. The Terriers were selected to finish sixth in this year's Preseason NEC Coaches Poll. Last year the Terriers, who were also picked sixth, finished in seventh place and reached the NEC Quarterfinals.
