The Terriers (8-6, 2-0) return home to welcome the Colonials of Robert Morris University (5-8, 2-0) on Saturday, January 12, at 1 p.m. at the Pope Physical Education Center. St. Francis begins conference play winning back-to-back contest for the first time since 2013-14, when the Terriers outlasted Mount Saint Mary's (MD) and Fairleigh. Dickinson on January 4 and 6, 2014 respectively. St. Francis is attempting to start conference play with three consecutive wins for the first time in program history. The Colonials of Robert Morris have begun league play with double-digit victories over Mount St. Mary's and Fairleigh Dickinson respectively.
ALL-TIME SERIES:
St. Francis trails Robert Morris 21-43 all time. The previous contest featured these two schools battling head-to-head on Remsen Street on February 12, 2018. The nail-biting finish between the two featured an 11-point performance from two Australians in
Alex Delaney and
Jade Johnson. Johnson converted 3-of-10 baskets, shot 3-of-4 from the charity stripe, also grabbed three rebounds. Delaney, would shoot 4-of-5 from the line, and grab six rebounds, and assist on four baskets. The lone Terrier who has not faced Robert Morris is
Dominique Ward, who comes by way of University of Rhode Island.
LAST TIME OUT:
A homecoming of sorts for both head coach

Dominique Ward. A native of Rhode Island, Cimino coached for the first time for St. Francis in her home state. A successful trip to Bryant for the Terriers included a career night for Ward, who blocked five in the contest which set a career high. The Trenton, N.J. native led the Terriers in points scored with 16, she converted 7-of-14 from the field, and grabbed six rebounds.
Jade Johnson notched 14 into the scoring column, and assisted on three baskets.
Amy O'Neill would contribute four points, and continue her domination in the assist row by adding nine. Senior guard
Maria Palarino added 10 points for the Terriers, as she is in pursuit of 1,000 career points in a St. Francis uniform. The Irwin, PA native is 46 away from accomplishing such a feat.

The Terriers are currently first in the conference in scoring (76.6 ppg), scoring margin (+4.4), field goal percentage (44.2%), three-point field goal percentage (40.9%), free-throw percentage (72.7), rebounding offense (42.1 RPG), rebounding margin (+3.6) assists per game (15.9), total assists (223), assist/turnover ratio (0.8), defensive rebounds (29.8 RPG).
INDIVIDUAL NEC LEADERS:
The Terriers have five players ranked in the top 30 of the conference in scoring. Johnson is ranked fourth in points per game with 18.1. O'Neill leads the conference in both assists (110) and assists per game (7.9).
Mia Ehling (45.7%) sits alone on top of the three-point shooting percentage chart. Her teammate
Jade Johnson (44.8%) sits two spots behind her at third place on the same list. Johnson has converted the second-most threes in the conference with 41.
Amy O'Neill ranks first in assist/turnover ratio (+1.9). O'Neill also has averaged the most minutes played per game (36.0).

With her 10-point performance against the Bryant Bulldogs, Irwin, PA native and senior guard
Maria Palarino has etched herself into the St. Francis Brooklyn women's basketball program record book. Palarino sits with 954 career points. She is 46 points away from surpassing the thousand-point mark.

Jade Johnson is tied for 15

Jade Johnson was named to her fourth Prime Performer list of the season for her respective conference. The Northeast Conference (NEC) has recently recognized
Dominique Ward a week ago, and joins fellow teammates
Amy O'Neill,
Maria Palarino, and
Ally Lassen on the list. The Australian native was also named as a Co-Player of the Week on the week of November 19. It was the first time in her career that Johnson took home the honor.
