BROOKLYN, NY – Alyssa Fisher of St. Francis Brooklyn women's basketball has been named a Northeast Conference Prime Performer, as announced by the conference office Friday afternoon. In the league's final weekly awards, Fisher was honored for the ninth time this season.
Fisher scored 17 points against Merrimack on Thursday, leading a balanced Terrier scoring effort. The senior made seven free throws and five field goals including a buzzer-beater to tie the score at the half. She finished the regular season averaging 16.6 points per game.
The Terriers turn their focus to the NEC tournament, where they take on No. 5 seed Wagner on Monday evening. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on NEC FrontRow.
