BROOKLYN, NY – Alyssa Fisher of the St. Francis Brooklyn women's basketball team has been named a Northeast Conference Prime Performer, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. It is the sixth time the senior guard has been honored and she has now been recognized for three straight weeks.
In two games, Fisher averaged 22.0 points per game on 46% shooting. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native shot 40% from three-point land and averaged 5.5 rebounds per game.
Against FDU Thursday, she scored 26 points converting on 11 field goals, the most field goals made by a Terrier in 2022-23.
In a win over Saint Francis (PA), Fisher scored 18 points after a quiet first half, making several key plays down the stretch. She had 13 points over the final 20 minutes of action.
Fisher is now second in the conference in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per contest. She averages 19.7 points per game in the team's six conference games, shooting 46.5% from the field and 39.5% from three-point range.
The Terriers continue action on Thursday, against a Wagner team that is undefeated in league play. Tip-off from the ARC is set for 7 p.m.
