EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - The St. Francis Brooklyn men's swim team capped off the fall semester breaking a number of team records on its way to a fourth place finish in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Winter Championships.
The Terriers performance was led by junior
Daniel Santos; who broke three school records in his individual sprint races. Santos won the 50y freestyle race with an SFBK record-breaking 20.5 second pace. He took second in two other races while breaking the school record - the 100y freestyle (44.77) and the 200y freestyle (1:38.63).

Benedek Lendvai broke the St. Francis record in the 500y free (4:34.03); good enough for third place in the event.
The men's 400 yard freestyle relay team (
Arthur Queiroz, Lendvai,
Kamil Goleniec, Santos) set its own school record; scoring a time of 3:04.60.
Several swimmers set career bests in the meet, as well.
Jedi Moreland James set a new personal best in the 500y freestyle with a 4:38.85 finish in the finals.
Robert Wagner set his own PR in the race, finishing in 4:39.20.
James broke the 16 minute mark in the 1650y freestyle for the first time in his collegiate career. His 15:53.75 time was good enough for second in the 1650y finals.
Quieroz posted top five times in two races over the weekend. He posted the third best 100y freestyle time in the conference and fourth best in the 200y freestyle.
NEXT UP: The Terriers are out of competition until the new year. Their next meet is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2021 against the College of Staten Island.
