AMHERST, NY – The St. Francis College Brooklyn men's and women's cross-country teams competed at the 2019 NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday afternoon. The men's team had four Terriers competing in the 10K, while the women's team had three competing in the 6K.
Senior
Pratheip Gugendiran finished his respective 10K race with a respective time of 36.15. Freshman
Noor Tayeh registered a strong time for the Terriers as he crossed the finish line at 36:17. Tayeh posted an average mile time of 5:51.
Sophomore
Terell Howard finished with a time of 37:06 to finish off the afternoon. He had a consistent mile average of 5:59. Senior
Jorge Palapa concluded the afternoon with a time of 38:05.
On the women's side, junior
Leah Rivers recorded the top time for the Terriers as she finished the 6K in 24:06. Rivers recorded an average mile time of 6:28. Freshman
Maria Grijalva concluded her race behind Rivers, as she posted a time of 25:11 in the championships. Freshman
Carol Nieves finished off the afternoon for the woman with a time of 26:03.

The Terriers are back in action one final time this season, on Saturday, November 23, when they cross the East River and travel to the Bronx for the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
