USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The St. Francis Brooklyn men's water polo continued its success from Friday night with its second and third consecutive wins in the Rare Air Challenge, hosted by the United States Air Force Academy.
The Terriers knocked off two of the top ten teams in the Division III rankings; defeating Redlands and Chapman.
GAME ONE: SFBK 17 | Redlands 10
The Terriers overwhelmed the Bulldogs offensively in their first match of the day. Nine Terriers recorded a goal in the victory and three Terriers recorded multiple goals. St. Francis never trailed in the match, leading 9-2 at halftime.
Paul Armingol and Baptise Oliveri led the scoring efforts, each scoring four goals.
GAME TWO: SFBK 23 | Chapman 9
The top offensive arms for St. Francis shined in the Terriers' final match of the day. Seven Terriers put the ball in the back of the cage with Aleksa Sisakovic (8) and Armingol (6) raising the score for the East Coast squad. St. Francis trotted out a trio of goalies in the win. Branislav Petrovic made three saves over 13:48 in the pool.
NEXT UP: The Terriers close out the weekend on Sunday, taking on Westcliff and La Verne.
