Track & Field Competes at 125th Annual Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The St. Francis Brooklyn track & field program competed at the 125^th annual Penn Relays over the course of Thursday and Friday. The University of Pennsylvania hosted the historic event at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, PA.
 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Terriers 4x100 relay team of Janaya Lewis, Brianna Browne, Tyiera Newland, and Tianna Cates clocked a time of 49.40.
• The 4x400 relay squad comprised of Diondra Bryant, Leah Rivers, Browne, and Newland registered a final time of 4:10.81.

 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:

• On the men's side the 4x100 relay team of Paul Clarke, Feguy Mangnan, Jamore Smart, and Timothy Epps crossed the finish line in 43:31.
• Later in the day on Friday, the 4x400 relay team made up of Clarke, Mangnan, Brian Strachn, and Daniel Hernandez tallied a time of 3:27.02.

The Terriers continue competition this week as they head to the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday in Ewing, NJ.
