Terriers Conclude NYC Gotham Cup on Friday Evening

STATEN ISLAND, NY – The St. Francis College Brooklyn Men's and Women's track and field teams concluded their events in the NYC Gotham Cup from Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday night.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:
· The Terriers kicked off the meet in 60-meter dash as sophomore Janaya Lewis ran 8.07 and placing tenth overall in this event.  
· Brooklyn native and freshman Tolulope Atolagbe had an impressive race in the women's 200-meter run. She posted a time of 27.32.
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:
· In the men's 400-meter dash, sophomore Parker Myers came in seventh-place, completing the race with a final time of 50.31.
· In the 1000-meter dash, Terell Howard would place eighth and cross the finish line at 2:37.07.
 
UP NEXT:
The Terriers are back in action on Friday, January 24, when they head to Beantown and compete in the Boston University Terrier Classic.
