WEST WINDSOR, NJ – The St. Francis Brooklyn men's tennis team (1-12, 0-6) fell to the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson University (9-12, 3-2) on Thursday afternoon at the 2019 NEC Tennis Championships in West Windsor, NJ. The Terriers' season ended following an eight-game skid dating back to March 3, when Men's Tennis took down Lafayette 4-2 in Pennsylvania. The Knights had fallen in three of their last five matches respectively.

Daniel Blasco fought his way to a first set tiebreaker that was as back and forth as they come, where he fell in the respective tiebreaker 7-4. First singles'
Tomas Dirube won a total of six games through a pair of sets before his match was called. Freshman
Facundo Couso showed that he has a bright future in a Terriers uniform by winning a total of five games in his first conference championship between a pair of sets.
