BOGOTA, NJ– The St. Francis College Brooklyn men's tennis team (5-7, 2-1) fell to the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson University (3-4, 1-0) by a score of seven matches to none inside the Bogota Racquet Club on Wednesday evening.
Junior Dennis Sanchez Felipe, and sophomore Luis Foix Sotos took down their opponent in the third doubles' pairing by a score of 7-5. In the singles' pairings, the Terriers could not take a match, but put up a courageous fight the entire way. Senior
Paolo Chiapponi took the second set by tiebreaker, and would not go away in the deciding tiebreaker super-set, where he fell 10-8. Same goes for junior Daniel Blasco, as he took the first set, but fell in the second, and just fell in the third decider.
