The Terriers (1-10, 0-5) conclude the regular season on Sunday afternoon against the Stags of Fairfield University (3-14, 1-2) when they open serve from the WAC Tennis Courts for a noon matinee. St. Francis Brooklyn could not get it done against the Fordham Rams a week ago when they could not secure a lone point. Fairfield has been on a 10-match skid dating back to February 24
th, where the Stags have obtained four points in five matches.
ALL TIME SERIES:
St. Francis Brooklyn trails the overall series 0-1 against Fairfield. Their only match came on April 14
th, 2018, where the Terriers fell 6-1. Second doubles pairing of
Javier Navarro and
Guillermo Artiz took down Anthony Caputo and Font Townsend 7-5. Singles participant
Guillermo Artiz (4
th) would take down Dylan Appel 6-7, 6-3, 10-4 in a three set thriller.
LAST TIME OUT:
The Terriers were unable to obtain a point in the match as they were outlasted in consecutive individual matchups. Freshman
Facundo Couso took his opponent to a three-set thriller but could not maintain serve down the stretch as he fell 10-8 in the third set tiebreaker. Second doubles
Daniel Blasco and
Grant Louis rallied against a tough Max Green and Finn Kemper but were edged at the last moment by a score of 7-5 in the one set decider.

The Terriers travel down to West Windsor, NJ to participate in the NEC Tennis Championships. The matches begin on Thursday, April 18, and conclude on Saturday, April 20
th at the Mercer County Tennis Center.
