HAMILTON, NY – The St. Francis Brooklyn men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to Hamilton, NY to face Colgate in a dual meet today. The women's team was edged by Colgate, 175-117, and the men's team fell to the Raiders, 178.5-105.5.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:
- Ana Paula Montes de Oca picked up a win for the Terriers in the 1000-yard freestyle as she posted a final time of 10:33.61. Montes de Oca won the 200-yard fly as she clocked a time of 2:08.48. She later won the 500-yard free with a time of 5:11.76.
- Raphaelle Gregoire took home gold in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.73.
- Fanny Stromstedt notched a victory in the 200-yard breaststroke with a final time of 2:26.00.
- The Terriers 200-yard free relay team of Gregoire, Montes de Oca, Angelica Stark, and Melanie Lumkong picked up a win as they clocked a time of 1:44.96.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:
- Alfred Christensson earned a win in the 200-yard fly with a time of 1:56.77.
- Andrew Gubarev registered a win for the Terriers in the 100-yard fly as he recorded a time of 54.78.
- In the 400-yard IM Binald Mahmuti notched a victory with a final time of 4:12.99.
- The 200-yard free relay team of Christensson, Gubarev, Micah Wesselhoff, and Marko Danev registered a win for the Terriers with a time of 1:30.04.

The Terriers' women's team is back in the pool on Saturday, February 2, as they go head-to-head with Sacred Heart. The men's team competes at the Metropolitan Championships which takes place February 22-24.
