BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY– The St. Francis College Brooklyn men's soccer team (1-2-1) took down the Peacocks of Saint Peter's University (1-4-0) by a score of two nil on Saturday afternoon from Brooklyn Bridge Park – Pier 5. The Terriers earn its first victory since their NCAA victory against Milwaukee, last spring season.

El Mahdi Youssoufi created separation in the attacking third, blowing by a trio of Peacocks defenders to send one past the sprawling Mecho for his first goal of the 2021 season.
The Terriers weren't done, as fifth year defender
Vicente Gallardo continued his strong play through four matches, as he added offense to the production, and tallied his squad's second goal of the afternoon in traffic in the 65' of action.

Tom Giovatto has now secured sole possession of second place on the Terriers' Men's Soccer program's wins chart for a head coach with 128. Giovatto now trails Carlo Tramontozzi, who sits atop the chart with 190.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fifth year defender Vicente Gallardo tallied the team's opening goal of the match. Gallardo logged 90 minutes on the pitch.
- Sophomore goalkeeper David Santiago recorded his first career victory, and first career clean sheet in 90 minutes on the field. Santiago registered three saves on three total shots by the Peacocks.
- Senior forward El Mahdi Youssoufi registered the team's second goal of the contest. The Moroccan native logged six shots and three of those, on net in 77 minutes on the playing surface.
- Junior midfielder Badr Mesrar added three shots of his own, with one on net in 67 minutes on the pitch.
- Junior forward Corrado Carbone recorded one shot on net in eight minutes off the bench.
- Fifth year midfielder Dennis Coke tallied three shots on the pitch in 78 minutes on the playing surface.
- Senior defender Harald Sollund registered a pair of shots with one on target in a full 90 minutes on the pitch.
