SIMSBURY, CT – The St. Francis Brooklyn men's golf team finished 10
th and shot a 624 (+48) as a team in the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate tournament. The Terriers tallied a score of 317 on Saturday and 307 on Sunday.
The Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate is an annual collegiate golf tournament that brings together top collegiate teams from throughout the Northeast each fall. The tournament was founded in 2010 and aims to provide a first-class championship experience to each team.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
David Tottori | T22nd | 150 (+6)
Senior co-captain
David Tottori shot a 150 (+6) over the course of the two-day tournament at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate. Tottori led the Terriers and finished tied for 22
nd individually.
On Saturday, Tottori shot a 74 (+2) and was tied for 10
th after the first round of play. He started his day by recording birdies on the second and third holes. Tottori later birdied the sixth hole en route to a 36 (E) through the front nine. He would go on to record his fourth and final birdie of the day on the 13
th hole.
Tottori registered a 76 (+4) in the second round of play on Sunday. He totaled two birdies in the round to close out the tournament with six birdies over the two-day event.
Alex Lising-White | T46th | 157 (+13)
Junior
Alex Lising-White totaled a 157 (+13) in the Terriers' opening tournament of the year. Lising-White shot an 81 (+9) on day one and finished up the tournament with a 76 (+4) in the second round. The junior tallied two birdies over the course of the tournament.
Nick Nemergut | T57th | 160 (+16)
Senior
Nick Nemergut shot a 160 (+16). Nemergut recorded an 83 (+11) in the opening round and then finished the second round with a 77 (+5). Nemergut birdied three times over the weekend.
Mark Stuto | 62nd | 161 (+17)
Freshman
Mark Stuto totaled a 161 (+17) in the first tournament action of his collegiate career. Stuto shot an 83 (+11) on Saturday and finished up Sunday strong by shooting a 76 (+4). The freshman registered three birdies for the Terriers.
Frank Parisi | T69th | 166 (+22)
Sophomore
Frank Parisi recorded a 166 (+22). He shot a 79 (+7) on Saturday and an 87 (+15) on Sunday. Parisi dropped in one birdie, which came on Saturday at the 12
th hole.
Hayden Meeker | T71st | 167 (+23)
Sophomore Jayden Meeker tallied a 167 (+23). The sophomore birdied three times, two of which came in round two on Sunday when he shot an 87 (+15). In the opening round, Meeker shot an 80 (+8).
