Terriers Conclude Regular Season at Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The St. Francis Brooklyn men's golf team finished its final tournament of the regular season as it competed in the Navy Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Naval Academy Golf Club. The Terriers came in 15th-place and compiled a team score of 641 (+73) over the two-day event.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
David Tottori | T29th | 153 (+11)
For the second-straight tournament, Tottori led the Terriers as he registered a top 30 finish. The senior carded a 77 (+6) in the first round of play on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, he notched a 76 (+5) and placed tied for 29th. Tottori entered this weekend's tournament coming off a strong showing last week at the Columbia Invitational where he finished tied for second-place overall.
 
Mark Stuto* | T42nd | 156 (+14)
Stuto had the second-best score for the Terriers as he registered a 156 (+14). Stuto was scored as an individual during the tournament. He opened up play by shooting an 80 (+9) in the first round. Today, he had a four-stroke improvement as he carded a 76 (+5).
 
Nick Nemergut | T59th | 160 (+18)
Nemergut once again finished in the top three amongst his teammates. He totaled a score of 160 (+18) in the two-day event. On Friday, he shot an 82 (+11) and then followed that up with a 78 (+7) on Saturday.
 
UP NEXT:
The Terriers head down to Daytona Beach, FL to take part in the 2019 Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship. The NEC Tournament is a three-round event that begins on Friday, April 26 and concludes on Sunday, April 28.
