Men’s Golf Concludes Season at 2019 NEC Championship

DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The St. Francis Brooklyn men's golf team concluded its season today at the 2019 Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship at the LPGA International golf course in Daytona Beach, FL. The Terriers finished in eighth-place as a team and compiled a team score of 965 (+101).
 
St. Francis Brooklyn shot a 324 (+36) in the first round on Friday. The Terriers then carded a collective 324 (+36) in the second round of play on Saturday. They closed out the tournament by shooting 317 (+29) today.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Nick Nemergut | T15th | 232 (+16)
Nemergut wrapped up a solid season by leading the Terriers as he recorded the team's best individual finish by shooting a 232 (+16) and tied for 15th-place. In the first round, Nemergut carded his best round of golf of the tournament as he shot a 74 (+2) to open up play. In the second round, he shot an 83 (+11) and then closed up play by recording a 75 (+3) in the third round.
 
David Tottori | T23rd | 234 (+18)
Tottori finished just two strokes behind Nemergut and tied for 23rd-place with a three-day score of 234 (+18). The senior carded an 81 (+9) in the first round of play and then tallied his best score of the tournament with a 74 (+2) in the second round. Tottori finished the season by registering a 79 (+7) on Sunday.
 
Alex Lising-White | T32nd | 241 (+25)
Lising-White tied for 32nd-place with a score of 241 (+25). He began the tournament by recording a mark of 81 (+9) on Friday. On Saturday, he carded an 80 (+8) and then mirrored that score to wrap up the season in the third and final round of play.
