BUFFALO, NY – A total of five St. Francis Brooklyn cross county student-athletes competed at the 2018 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championships at Audobon Golf Course in Buffalo, NY. The women's race was a 6K, while the men ran a 10K.
Senior
Diondra Bryant and sophomore
Leah Rivers represented the Terriers' women's cross country team. On the men's side, sophomore
Orville Dixon Jr., sophomore
Zach Faljean, and freshman
Jason Cousineau were in action at the postseason event.
Bryant and Rivers finished within one spot of one another. Bryant crossed the finish line first for the Terriers as she ran the 6K in 7:17.1. Rivers finished the race nearly two seconds after Bryant as she posted a time of 7:19.4.
In the men's 10K, Cousineau was the first Terrier to finish the race. He posted a time of 36:34.0 for an average mile time of 5:53.1 in snowy conditions. Faljean came across the finish line next with a final time of 37:33.8. Dixon Jr. clocked a time of 41:45.5.
