BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – The St. Francis Brooklyn men's and women's cross country programs ran at the METS Championships on Friday in their final race before the 2018 NEC Championships. The men's team placed eighth, while the women's squad came in 10
th.
Freshman
Jason Cousineau led the way for the Terriers on the men's side as he crossed the finish line in the 5K in 23
rd place. Sophomore Zack Faljean notched the second-best finish for St. Francis Brooklyn as he came in 34
th overall.
On the women's side of competition, senior
Diondra Bryant recorded the best time for the Terriers. Bryant recorded a 5K time of 21:12.8 and crossed the finish line in 39
th place. Sophomore
Leah Rivers registered a 41
st place finish with a mark of 21:17.0. Freshman
Tyiera Newland recorded a time of 24:10.5.
