The Terriers (7-5) are back home on Sunday, December 23, to take on the Manhattan Jaspers (2-9) at 2 p.m. St. Francis Brooklyn comes into the contest winners of five out of its last seven games. Over the last seven games, the Terriers have picked up three home wins, including back-to-back wins at the Pope last week (defeated UMass Lowell on Dec. 11 & Saint Peter's on Dec. 15). St. Francis Brooklyn was topped by St. John's in its last game on Wednesday, December 19. Manhattan has dropped each of its last six games and most recently fell to Albany, 77-67, on Thursday, December 20.
ALL-TIME SERIES:
St. Francis Brooklyn and Manhattan are slated to meet for the 89th time in history. The Jaspers hold the advantage in the series with a 53-35 record against the Terriers. The teams will go head-to-head for the fourth season in a row. Manhattan picked a win in the last meeting which took place on November 15, 2017. The Terriers were narrowly edged by the Jaspers, 80-79, in overtime.
Glenn Sanabria paced the Terriers in scoring the last time they played the Jaspers. Sanabria scored 13 points on 4-of-11 shooting from the field.
Yaradyah Evans came off the bench and scored six points, grabbed a pair of rebounds, and swiped two steals. The Terriers are currently 2-0 against MAAC members as they defeated both Niagara and Saint Peter's earlier in the non-conference slate.
LAST TIME OUT:
The Terriers fell to St. John's, 86-52, on Wednesday night at Carnesecca Arena. At the halftime break, the Terriers trailed St. John's 37-25. St. John's built on its first half lead and went on to outscore the Terriers 49-27 in the second half. Hawkins paced the Terriers in the second half with a team-high 11 points in the frame en route to a game-high of 16 on the evening. Jordan tallied 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting. It was the 11th time this season that the guard registered double figure points in a contest.
HOME COOKIN':
St. Francis Brooklyn is 4-0 at home this season, and it is coming off a 56-53 defeat of Saint Peter's on Saturday, December 15. Last season the Terriers posted an impressive 10-3 record on their home court. They went 3-1 at home during non-conference play and 7-2 during their league slate. Since the 2013-14 season, the Terriers have posted a 37-25 record on their home court. The 10 home wins last season were the most for the Terriers since they recorded 13 in 2014-15.
NON-CONFERENCE NOTABLES:
The seven non-conference wins are the most for the Terriers since they posted nine during the 2013-14 season. The Terriers are 4-0 at home during non-conference play. The four home wins are tied for the most in non-league play since they also picked up four home victories in 2013-14. The Terriers were on a three-game winning streak from November 24 to December 3. It was the longest winning streak for the Terriers since they won four-straight (Feb. 18-27) to close out the 2015-16 season. St. Francis Brooklyn is currently winners of five out of their last six games.
SCOUTING THE JASPERS:
The Jaspers enter the game with a 2-9 record and are in the midst of a six-game losing streak. Manhattan is currently 0-5 on the road and was most recently defeated by Albany, 77-67, on December 20. Warren Williams leads the Jaspers in scoring with 8.5 points per game. Pauly Paulicap, the reigning MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, is second on the team with 8.2 points per contest but has only played in six games thus far for the Jaspers. As a team, Manhattan is averaging 54.0 points per game, and has allowed 63.7 points per contest. The Jaspers are shooting 37.1 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from behind the arc through 11 games this season.

St. Francis Brooklyn ranks 212th and second among NEC members in the latest NCAA NET rankings. The Terriers only trail Central Connecticut who was ranked 193rd in the latest rankings. The NCAA Evaluation Tool, which will be known as the NET, relies on game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive, and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses.
NEC RANKINGS:
The Terriers have allowed the second-fewest points per game (71.5 ppg), and have the second-best scoring margin (+1.1) in the NEC this season. St. Francis Brooklyn has been the second-toughest team in the conference to shoot against, opposing teams are just shooting 43.6 percent from the field against the Terriers. Opposing teams are shooting only 30.9 percent from behind the arc which is the lowest mark in the conference. St. Francis Brooklyn is the best rebounding offense (40.4 rpg) and have the fourth-best rebounding margin (+1.7) in the league. The Terriers are the best defensive rebounding team in the conference averaging 28.5 per game. As a team, the Terriers are blocking 4.8 shots per game and have swatted away 58 shots. Jalen Jordan ranks 10th in the NEC in scoring (16.0 ppg), Hawkins is 13th (13.5 ppg), and Sanabria ranks tied for 24th in scoring (10.6 ppg). JORDAN TAKES HOME WEEKLY HONORS:
Jalen Jordan was tabbed the Northeast Conference (NEC) and College Sports Madness (CSM) NEC Player of the Week on Monday, December 17. Jordan is the first Terrier to take home the NEC Player of the Week award since Jalen Cannon, the program's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, claimed the honor on February 23, 2015. Jordan was also named a MET Player of the Week honorable mention.

Glenn Sanabria scored his 1,000th career point in a win over Niagara on November 24. Sanabria became the 32nd player to join the Terriers' 1,000-point club and the first since Brent Jones did so on February 5, 2015, against Central Connecticut. He currently is in 27th place on the Terriers' all-time scoring list with 1,069 points. The next member of the 1,000-point club that he is chasing is Ben Mockford with a total of 1,077 in 26th place.
TERRIERS COACHING RECORDS:

Glenn Braica passed Rody Cooney for third place on the program's all-time wins list for victories by a head coach. Braica has compiled 122 wins over his nine seasons on Remsen Street. Braica is just one of four Terriers' head coaches to win over 100 games in their career.
TERRIERS INK QUARTLEBAUM:
On November 16, St. Francis Brooklyn men's basketball announced the signing of Trey Quartlebaum. Quartlebaum is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard from Lawrence, KS and attends Lawrence High School. He is originally from Dobbs Ferry, NY and plays AAU ball for KC Run GMC. The guard averaged 13.0 points per game during his junior year at Lawrence and was a Kansas 6A All-State Honorable Mention.
