The visitors outscored the Terriers by a 12-3 margin to close within 41-29 with 51 seconds left after a 3-pointer by Kashaun Hicks. St. Francis Brooklyn eventually settled for a 43-29 halftime advantage.

Central Connecticut State (8-10, 1-4 NEC) was within 56-42 after Joe Hugley converted two shots from the line with 10:33 remaining but the Terriers put the game away with a 18-6 burst that saw the lead balloon to 74-48 with just 5:05 remaining in the contest. Senior
D.J. Porter came off the bench and scored seven consecutive points to ignite the stretch and Dunn contributed five points.
Tyler Kohl scored 28 points and added eight boards to pace the Blue Devils.
St. Francis Brooklyn shot 45.5 percent (25-of-55) overall, made 16-of-35 treys (45.7 percent), and went 11-for-17 (64.7 percent) from the foul line.
Central Connecticut State converted 20-of-47 (42.6 percent) overall attempts, went 4-for-13 (30.8 percent) from beyond the arc, and hit 16-of-18 (88.9 percent) free-throws.
St. Francis Brooklyn will host Sacred Heart on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The Terriers defeated the Pioneers, 73-68, on December 29
