BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - The Terriers' top performers against Saint Francis (PA) on Feb. 16 were recognized on Monday as Prime Performers by the Northeast Conference (NEC).
The NEC named Zion Bethea and Josiah Harris to their penultimate weekly awards after a pair of standout performances against the Red Flash.
Bethea played his best game against NEC competition on Thursday, scoring 20 points (8-12 FG, 3-7 3PT) and logging six rebounds and three steals. The South Orange, N.J. native is now the Terriers leading scorer in NEC play, averaging 12.1 points per game off the bench.
Harris continues to be the Terriers block and rebound leader, adding his third consecutive double-double, and fifth in his last six games, with 15 points and 11 rebounds on Thursday. He sits with a 9.4 points per game and 9.1 rebounds per game in conference play.
Harris, Bethea and the Terriers return to action for the final two games of the regular season, facing Sacred Heart (Feb. 23) and FDU (Feb. 25) on the road.
