Glenn Braica announced that the Terriers will host Saint Peter's on Wednesday, December 23, at 2 p.m., inside the Daniel Lynch '38 Gymnasium at the Pope Physical Education Center. The game is set to broadcast on NEC Front Row.
The meeting marks the sixth time in as many seasons that the Terriers and Peacocks are set to go head-to-head in non-conference action. St. Francis defeated Saint Peter's, 56-53, the last time it made the trip to Brooklyn Heights on December 15, 2018. Then graduate guard Glenn Sanabria paced the Terriers with 17 points in their last victory over Saint Peter's.
The Peacocks are coming off a 2019-20 season where they went (18-12, 14-6 MAAC) and earned the No. 2 seed in the 2020 MAAC Tournament. Saint Peter's advanced to the MAAC Semifinals before the Tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Peacocks are off to a (1-1) start this season, and earned its first win over La Salle on November 27.
