BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – The St. Francis College Brooklyn Athletics Department announced today that it will air its end of year awards show on Monday, June 21, at 7 p.m. (EDT) on
NECFrontRow.com. Student-athletes, Coaches, Administrators, and fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #TerrierAwardsTakeover to stay connected.
The awards show will be hosted by women's water polo goalie Marycatherine McKendry and men's volleyball libero/setter Derrick Truong, and will be produced by the Terrier Sports Network staff.
St. Francis Athletics will honor and celebrate the student-athletes and thank them for their hard work and dedication. The student-athletes are set to be recognized team-by-team, and their outstanding accomplishments will be highlighted throughout the duration of the show.
The Athletics Department major awards will also be revealed during the show. This year, the major awards include the Female Student-Athlete of the Year, Male Student-Athlete of the Year, Scholar-Athletes of the Year, Female Director's Award, Male Director's Award, and Administrators of the Year.
Student-athletes are encouraged to dress up from home and take pictures in their "banquet" outfits. Student-athletes can post their images to their social media accounts and use the hashtag #TerrierAwardsTakeover to join the conversation. The Athletics Department will select several of the best photos and share them on social media.
