BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – The 2019 St. Francis Brooklyn Athletic Awards banquet is set for Monday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., and will stream on
NEC Front Row for the third year in a row. Doors open to the banquet at 7 p.m., with the program slated to begin at 7:30 p.m., in the Genovesi Center on the campus of St. Francis College.
The banquet is held yearly to honor and celebrate the student-athletes and thank them for their hard work and dedication to St. Francis Brooklyn. The student-athletes are recognized team-by-team, and their outstanding accomplishments will be highlighted throughout the evening.
In addition to the annual team awards, the St. Francis Brooklyn Athletic Department will hand out the Rocky Awards which includes the Brooklyn Tough Awards (female/male), Newcomer of the Year (female/male), and Record-Breaking Season (female/male).
The Athletic Department major awards will also be distributed at the banquet. The major awards include the Administrator of the Year, Ed Aquilone Spirit Award, Scholar-Athletes of the Year (female/male), Student-Athletes of the Year (female/male), and Director's Award (female/male).
