Prior to SFC: Flinders arrived as a junior transfer from Salt Lake Community College (Salt Lake City, UT) where she recorded 7.56 assists per game for the SLCC Bruins in her sophomore season. During her freshman year, Flinders played at Western Nebraska Community College (Scottsbluff, NE), another junior college powerhouse. Flinders graduated from Provo High School where she earned All-Region First Team and All-State Honorable Mention accolades in 2006 and 2007. She also played club volleyball for the Utah Vipers, Club Utah State, and Summit Elite.
