Danny Altamar begins his fifth season working with coach Martinez. Previously, Altamar held roles on staff with coach Martinez at Bloomfield (2015-16) and Saint Peter’s (2017-18). Additionally, Altamar has three years of club coaching experience with the Sideout Sports Volleyball Club where he was recently elevated to Club Director.
 
During the 2019 club season, Altamar coached the 15 National Team and led the club to a second-place finish in the Region. The club medaled in three out of four tournaments and took home first-place at the Mizuno Boston Volleyball Festival Tournament in the 15 Open Division. The club earned a bid to the USAV Junior National Championships held in in Indianapolis. It was the first time in club history that the team earned a bid to USAV Nationals.
 
In 2018, he guided the 17 National Team to a top 10 ranking in the region as they competed in Indianapolis, Texas, Washington, D.C, Connecticut, Philadelphia. Several of his former athletes went on to play collegiate volleyball. During his first season with the club, he coached the 17 national team and it was ranked in the top 10 of the region. The club competed at tournaments in Georgia, Washington, Connecticut, Philadelphia. Multiple athletes went on the play collegiate volleyball and earned honors such as the NJAC Rookie of the Year.
