BROOKLYN, NY - St. Francis Brooklyn head coach Linda Cimino announced Friday that guard Jada McMillan has rejoined the team for the remainder of the 2022-23 season as a graduate student.

McMillan was a three-year member of the Terriers program under Cimino (2019-2022) and graduated in May 2022 with a Bachelor's of Science in Management.

Her return to the team is effective immediately.

"I am so excited to be back and so blessed for this opportunity to be playing with the girls again while furthering my education," said McMillan. "I cannot wait to see what this year will bring for me and the team!"

McMillan was considered the heart of the team during the 2021-22 season in which the Terriers earned the two seed in the Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament for the first time; winning the Battle of Brooklyn over LIU for the sixth straight season and upsetting Big Ten foe Michigan State in a historic run.

"We are excited to welcome Jada back as a member of our program," said Cimino. "She was a vital part of the our record-setting season last year; bringing energy every time she stepped on the court. I am thankful Jada has chosen to continue her academic and athlete career with us in Brooklyn."

The Charlotte, NC native was given the "Coaches Award" at the Athletics Department's year-end Rocky Awards.

She appeared in 27 games last season and started her first game against Saint Francis (PA) on Feb. 19, 2022.

McMillan and the Terriers continue the NEC season on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 14, against Sacred Heart.
