After the Broncs opened the scoring in the match's 12th minute on a goal by Chloe Fisher, they scored a pair of quick goals just past the half hour mark to extend the advantage. Makenzie Rodriguez found the back of the net in the 31st minute, and Emily Deluisi followed with a goal in the 36th minute to give Rider a 3-0 lead, which they carried into halftime.
The Terriers mounted a rally in the second half, finding the scoreboard in the 54th minute on a goal from junior Isabelle Gollette. St. Francis continued to press the issue, before Rodriguez's goal in the 83rd minute reclaimed a three-goal lead for the Broncs.
Junior Maya Madjercic closed the scoring in the 88th minute, receiving a ball from sophomore Avery Gonzalez and depositing it in the goal for the Terriers.
St. Francis owned a 17-11 advantage in shots, led by five attempts from senior Barbara Zagonyi. Junior Klil Keshwar made four saves in goal for the Terriers. St. Francis racked up six of the match's eight total corner kicks.
The Terriers return to action on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. when they welcome the Canisius College Golden Griffins to Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 5.
