Moreno appeared in 11 games this season for the Terriers and averaged 3.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. Moreno was tabbed the NEC Rookie of the Week on Monday, February 10. The guard helped lead the Terriers to a 70-67 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, February 8.
He became the second Terrier to earn the award this season, joining freshman guard Rob Higgins, who took home the honor on January 22. The Brooklyn, NY, native rocked the Pope with a career-high 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and knocked down 5-of-6 from deep in 20 minutes of play off the bench in the win over the Mountaineers.
