Terriers Down Explorers to Earn Second Consecutive Victory

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – The St. Francis College Brooklyn men's soccer team (2-0-0) earned a 3-0 victory over the La Salle Explorers (1-1-0) on Tuesday afternoon at Brooklyn Bridge Park – Pier 5. The win marked the Terriers second in a row after they opened up the season with a 1-0 triumph over Stony Brook last Saturday. 
 
St. Francis has now won each of its last two meetings with La Salle dating back to last season as the Terriers knocked off the Explorers, 2-0, on September 5, 2018. Over the previous two contests against La Salle, the Terriers have held the Explorers off the scoreboard for 180 minutes.

The Terriers wrap up a three-match homestand on Saturday, September 7, as they welcome the Lafayette Leopards to Brooklyn Bridge Park – Pier 5 for a 1 p.m. kick-off. The Terriers are (4-0-1) in their last five meetings with Lafayette and have won four-straight contests against them. St. Francis defeated Lafayette, 1-0, on a game-winning goal by Islami to open up the 2018 season.
