The season opened serve with sophomore Dea Lako coming from behind in a three-set thriller to earn her first Terrier victory by a score of 6-7 (7-4), 6-4, and would claim victory 10-6 in the third set.
Senior Runsi Patro rallied as she would take the second set over Sarah Cheverie, 6-3, but would fall in the third set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-5).
