The Terriers led the Falcons by 28 pins after the third game, and then found a groove in the final two games, rolling scores of 213 and 207 to pull away for a 94 pin verdict in their favor. With six strikes and four spares, Waglione filled all ten of her frames during the match.
Molloy College 968, St. Francis 897
The Terriers led the Lions of Molloy by a pin after game two, and trailed by only 13 after three games, but were unable to match Molloy's scoring in the final two games as they dropped their first match of the day. Hollywood was the standout of the match in the anchor spot, filling all ten of her frames, including one tenth frame double.
Kutztown University 1,020, St. Francis 868
The Golden Bears' lowest game of the match was a 187, and they broke the 200 mark in the first two games, while the Terriers were unable to eclipse the 200 barrier, leading to victory for the host squad. Hollywood and sophomore Kimmi D'Ottavio each filled nine of ten frames for the Terriers.
St. Francis 936, Chestnut Hill College 935
In the thriller of the weekend, the Terriers trailed the Griffins by 25 pins going into the final game, and opened two of the first five frames of that game, before making a late rally to eke out a one pin decision. Waglione struck in the foundation ninth frame, before Hollywood stepped up and rolled a pair of strikes followed by a seven count on the final ball. Waglione and D'Ottavio both filled nine of ten frames, while Hollywood rolled tenth frame turkeys in both games one and three.
St. Francis 938, Chestnut Hill 916
The final match of the weekend was a position round, and once again the Terriers were matched with Chestnut Hill. And once again, St. Francis found themselves trailing by 20 pins after four games, despite a solid 201 in the fourth game. The Terriers then began game five with a double by junior Taylor Smith and sophomore Victoria Doto, which was followed by spares by D'Ottavio and Waglione. Hollywood struck in the fifth, and Smith followed with a nice conversion of the 3-6-10 for a spare. Doto's open in the seventh was followed by a D'Ottavio spare in frame eight. Again, Waglione struck in the foundation frame, and Hollywood rolled a pair of strikes in the tenth to lift the Terriers to a 211 score and a 22 pin victory in the match. D'Ottavio rolled a clean match, and Smith and Hollywood each had only one open.
