HIGHLIGHTS:
- Beatriz Gomes Angelo earned a first-place finish in the 1000-yard free with a time of 10:47.87. Her first-place time was 21 seconds faster than Margaret Flaherty who came in second from Sacred Heart.
- Raphaelle Gregoire earned a pair of victories for the Terriers. She won the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 30.63 and the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.10. In the 50-yard breaststroke, Lara Milak came in second with a time of 32.53. In the 100-yard breaststroke, the Terriers placed first, second, and third. Behind Gregoire came Fanny Stromstedt with a time of 1:08.47 in second, and in third was Milak who posted a time of 1:10.16.
- The reigning NEC Co-Swimmer of the Week, Ana Paula Montes de Oca picked up a win in the 500-yard freestyle. She recorded a time of 5:13.05, which was seven seconds quicker than Flaherty from Sacred Heart.
- Kayla McKenzie took home a win for the Terriers in the 1-meter dive. She posted a score of 194.60 in the six-dive event.
The Terriers are set to compete in the 2019 Northeast Conference (NEC) Swimming & Diving Championship which takes place February 13-16, at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, NY.
