Terriers Take Down Fairleigh Dickinson in Straight Sets to Earn First NEC Win of Season

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – The St. Francis College Brooklyn women's volleyball team (6-10, 1-2 NEC) knocked off Fairleigh Dickinson (1-16, 0-3 NEC) in straight sets to pick up its first Northeast Conference (NEC) win of the season. Friday's win marks the Terriers' third-straight against the Knights dating back to last season.
 
St. Francis rolled to its first conference victory of the season behind a balanced offensive attack. As a team, the Terriers hit .287 and recorded 44 kills on 108 total attempts. St. Francis tallied a total of 11 service aces, while Fairleigh Dickinson only totaled one in the match. The .287 hitting percentage and 11 service aces were both season-highs for the Terriers.
 
The Terriers had six student-athletes register five or more kills in the match and were led by junior outside hitter Vanja Miljacic, who had a team-high of 10.
