The Terriers (5-4) return home on Tuesday, December 11, to face UMass Lowell (6-6) at 7 p.m. It marks the Terriers' third game at home in the Pope Physical Education Center this season. St. Francis Brooklyn is coming off an 82-60 defeat on Saturday at NJIT. The River Hawks have won two out of their last three games and picked up a win on Friday against Maine Fort Kent. The River Hawks picked up a 110-63 victory over Maine Fort Kent and improved to 4-0 on their home court. UMass Lowell enters the meeting with the Terriers 0-6 on the road and was defeated by Boston University, 79-60, in their last road contest on December 4.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES:
St. Francis Brooklyn and UMass Lowell will meet for the first time in history on Tuesday night. Since the 1949-50 season, the Terriers are a combined 15-27 against current America East members. St. Francis Brooklyn last went head-to-head with a member of the America East on December 17, 2016, when they took on Albany. The Terriers were edged by the Great Danes, 87-60.
 
LAST TIME OUT:
The Terriers fell to NJIT (9-2), 82-60, on Saturday afternoon. The defeat snapped the Terriers' three-game winning streak, which dated to November 24. NJIT moves to 9-2 and becomes one of seven teams in the nation with nine wins this season. The Highlanders jumped out to an early lead in the contest, but the Terriers fought to keep the game within reach. Junior forward Christian Rohlehr scored 12 points in the first half on his way to a team-high 16 in the game. The Highlanders built on their first half lead in the second half and outscored the Terriers, 46-36, in the second stanza on their way to the win. Rohlehr put together his first career double-double as he poured in a career-high 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. The forward shot 6-of-10 from the field and went 4-of-6 from the free-throw line in 20 minutes of action.
 
NON-CONFERENCE NOTABLES:
The five non-conference wins are the most for the Terriers since they posted six during the 2014-15 season. The Terriers were on a three-game winning streak from November 24 to December 3. It was the longest winning streak for the Terriers since they won four-straight (Feb. 18-27) to close out the 2015-16 season.
 
SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS:
The River Hawks are an even 6-6 on the young season and are winless (0-6) in six road contests. UMass Lowell has four players currently scoring in double figures as they are averaging 82.9 points per game as a team. Obadiah Noel is the team's leading scorer averaging 15.5 points per game. Christian Lutete is right behind with Noel scoring 15.4 points per contest and is the team's leading rebounder with 7.8 per game. In 11 games off the bench, Alex Rivera is averaging 13.9 points per game, and Josh Gantz rounds out the River Hawks' in double-digits with 12.0 points per contest.
 
HOME COOKIN':
St. Francis Brooklyn is 2-0 at home this season, and it is coming off a 104-75 defeat of St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Monday, December 3. Last season the Terriers posted an impressive 10-3 record on their home court. They went 3-1 at home during non-conference play and 7-2 during their league slate. Since the 2013-14 season, the Terriers have posted a 37-25 record on their home court. The 10 home wins last season were the most for the Terriers since they recorded 13 in 2014-15.
 
NCAA NET RANKINGS:
St. Francis Brooklyn ranks 192nd and first among NEC members in the latest NCAA NET rankings. The NCAA Evaluation Tool, which will be known as the NET, relies on game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive, and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses. UMass Lowell ranks just below the Terriers in 199th place.
 
NEC RANKINGS:
The Terriers have scored the third-most points in the conference (76.4 ppg), allowed the third-fewest points per game (72.2 ppg), and have the best scoring margin (+4.2) in the NEC. St. Francis Brooklyn has been the toughest team in the conference to shoot against, opposing teams are just shooting 43.1 percent from the field against the Terriers. Opposing teams are shooting only 32.0 percent from behind the arc which is the second-lowest mark in the conference. St. Francis Brooklyn is the best rebounding offense (41.4 rpg) and have the third-best rebounding margin (+3.8) in the league. The Terriers are the best defensive rebounding team in the conference averaging 29.6 per game. As a team, the Terriers are blocking 4.9 shots per game, the second-most in the NEC. They are averaging the second-most made threes per game (9.2) and have made the third-most in the league (83).
 
Jalen Jordan ranks 11th in the NEC in scoring (15.4 ppg), Hawkins is 15th (13.3 ppg), and Sanabria ranks 30th in scoring (9.6 ppg). Jordan is shooting 46.9 percent from three, which is the fourth-best mark in the league. He has knocked down 30 threes and is averaging 3.3 makes from threes per game, both the second-most in the conference.

Graduate guard Glenn Sanabria scored his 1,000th career point in a win over Niagara on November 24. Sanabria became the 32nd player to join the Terriers' 1,000-point club and the first since Brent Jones did so on February 5, 2015, against Central Connecticut. He currently sits tied for 29th on the Terriers' all-time scoring list with 1,028 career points.
 
TERRIERS COACHING RECORDS:
St. Francis Brooklyn men's basketball head coach Glenn Braica passed Rody Cooney for third place on the program's all-time wins list for victories by a head coach. Braica has compiled 120 wins over his nine seasons on Remsen Street. Braica is just one of four Terriers' head coaches to win over 100 games in their career.
 
TERRIERS INK QUARTLEBAUM:
On November 16, St. Francis Brooklyn men's basketball announced the signing of Trey Quartlebaum. Quartlebaum is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard from Lawrence, KS and attends Lawrence High School. He is originally from Dobbs Ferry, NY and plays AAU ball for KC Run GMC. The guard averaged 13.0 points per game during his junior year at Lawrence and was a Kansas 6A All-State Honorable Mention.
