Last Time Out: Emmitsburg, Md. - - -The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers saw their three-game winning streak come to an end as they fell to the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers, 86-72, on Saturday afternoon at Knott Arena.

Junior guard Glenn Sanabria, who swished his 150th career 3-pointer in the opening half, scored a season-high 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting.  Sanabria scored 18 points in the second half and drilled 5-of-9 attempts from behind the arc.  Freshman Chauncey Hawkins (4 assists, 3 steals) continued his solid play off the bench as the guard posted a career-best 19 points. Hawkins hit 6-of-9 field goal attempts and was a career-best 4-for-6 from long-distance.

St. Francis Brooklyn's (9-13, 6-4 NEC) slow start to open the contest made it difficult to make a comeback but the Red & Blue gave a great effort none the less.  Playing in front of a large and boisterous crowd of 3,000 fans, the Mount raced out to a 21-8 lead at the 9:44 mark.

The Terriers re-gained their footing and managed to close within just six points after freshman guard Josh Nicholas delivered a trey to make it 31-25 with 3:18 left before the break.  But the hosts scored the next six points to push the lead back to double-digits at 37-25 at the 2:25 mark and eventually settled for a 43-34 halftime advantage.

Mount St. Mary's (12-11, 6-4), once again, started fast as they scored the first eight points of the second half to take their largest lead of the game at 51-34 with 18:24 remaining.

The Terriers, who defeated the Mount 81-73 on January 18th in Brooklyn Heights, still trailed by 17, 62-45, with 14:04 left but went on an 8-1 spurt to close within 63-53 at the 11:59 mark.  Hawkins and Sanabria delivered consecutive triples and a layup by Sanabria capped the stretch.

St. Francis Brooklyn was able to get the game back to single-figures after Hawkins made another trifecta to make it 66-58 at the 8:54 mark.  The Mount, however, scored six straight points to extend their lead to 72-58 with 6:03 remaining.

Mount maintained a double-digit lead until Sanabria hit a three-pointer with just thirty-seven seconds left in the contest to bring the Terriers within 81-72.  The hosts scored the final five points of the contest to ice the game.

The hosts shot a red-hot 56 percent (28-of-50) overall from the floor and were 10-for-20 from long-range.  The NEC's leading scorer Junior Robinson scored a game-high 27 points and went 4-for-5 from deep.

The Terriers shot 43.3 percent overall (26-of-60) but were only 13-of-33 (39.4 percent) from behind the arc.

The Mount also held a big advantage at the foul line as they went 20-for-27 (74.1 percent) while St. Francis Brooklyn took just 10 attempts (7-for-10).
